The 8th RIGA FASHION WEEK  took place from the 26th till the 30th of March, 2008. For the first time, the main podium of RIGA FASHION WEEK was held in the largest hall of The Reval Hotel Latvija. In accord with years gone by, RIGA FASHION WEEK consist of shows, presentations, showroom and parties which took place in the most fashionable and interesting places in the city. For five days, Riga again became the centre of the Baltic Region with this year's RIGA FASHION WEEK.

The new autumn/winter 2008/09 collection „BIO” created by Hypnosis Fashion designer Agnese Narņicka tells about the process and events relevant to the human evolution and progress of life.

The collection contains both men, and women’s clothing, dynamically created, deep in colourings and texture. The collection’s colour gamut ranges from greyish hazy to bright tones including white, red, purple, and bright printings. The only weave that is used in collection is checks, as a symbol of constructivism, logic and determined system.
